This society was recently established by plastic surgeons that specialize in body contouring surgery specifically for patients that have lost weight through non-surgical means such as diet or exercise or through various bariatric procedures. After significant weight loss, patients are typically left with skin excesses which many patients are unprepared for as well as concerned about.
