Cheekbone Sculpting with Radiesse
One of the newest fillers available today is the long-lasting Radiesse. A trend of late has been to use this filler to create higher, more dramatic cheekbones. While the trend began with models and celebrities, many are starting to take advantage of the positive impact that sculpted cheekbones can have on their appearance. And since Radiesse is an injectable, the recovery period is short and discomfort is minimal.
When Dr. Rosen accentuates cheekbones with Radiesse, other parts of the face naturally appear more lifted, especially the middle area. Wrinkles on the face's lower section appear softened. Sculpted cheekbone results can be maintained for a year--a lengthier period than any other injectable currently available. Typically the injections are made intra-orally to decrease discomfort and reduce the amount of bruising. Generally the procedure takes around one hour.
It should not be forgotten, however, that Radiesse is also frequently and very successfully used for filling in facial folds and wrinkles and providing a generally fresher and younger appearance. These treatments typically take around 15 minutes. Radiesse is available in pre-loaded syringes.
If you are interested in exploring what this long-lasting filler can do for you, either in creating a new sculpted appearance or simply reducing lines and wrinkles, please contact the cosmetic surgery office of Dr. Rick Rosen, M.D., F.A.C.S. at 203-899-0000 to schedule a consultation today.
