Cosmetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery - Rick Rosen, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Thursday, May 21, 2009
Choosing the Right Cosmetic Surgeon
Choosing a cosmetic surgeon is a decision that is not to be taken lightly. Cosmetic surgery involves serious medical procedures, and you want to know that you are in safe hands. Choose a surgeon with the proper certifications, experience and training who keeps up with the latest trends in the field.
Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
It is critical to note that Dr. Rick Rosen is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is board certified in the area of plastic surgery, not just general surgery. He uses his artistic eye and his understanding of proportion and balance to create meaningful surgical outcomes for his patients. He has over 20 years of experience practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Participation in Boards and Organizations
Credible surgeons participate in boards and organizations of note. Dr. Rosen is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a prior-year selection of the Castle and Connolly's list of the best regional plastic surgeons. For approximately 10 years he served as division chief at a nearby hospital. He is a frequent lecturer on many nuances of the practice of plastic surgery.
